Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon will deliver the keynote address on the "Future of Base Realignment and Closures" at the annual conference of the National Association of Installation Developers (NAID) in Monterey, Calif. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, starting at noon PDT. The luncheon speech will be held in the Doubletree Hotel/Conference Center, 2 Portola Plaza, Monterey.
Randall Yim, deputy undersecretary of Defense (Installations and Industrial Affairs), will also participate in the conference, leading a panel discussion by Defense and military officials, on privatization, environmental issues, and future closure rounds.
