SECDEF to SOCOM Change of Command
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will speak at the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) change of command ceremony at 10 a.m., Friday Oct. 27, 2000, at the Tampa Convention Center, Tampa, Fla. Air Force Gen. Charles R. Holland will assumecommand from Army Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker as commander in chief, U.S. SOCOM.
There will be no media availability following the event.
