Shelton to Travel to the Balkans and Belgium
Gen. Henry H. Shelton, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will depart Andrews Air Force Base, Md., on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, for a visit to the Balkans and Belgium. The purpose of his trip is to visit commanders and troops in the field for operational updates in Kosovo, Saravejo and Tuzla on Dec. 4 - 5, 2000. He will continue to Brussels, Belgium, to participate in meetings of the North Atlantic Council, Defense Planning Committee on Dec. 5 - 6, 2000.
Shelton will return to Washington on Dec. 6, 2000.
