DoD National African American History Month Celebration
The Department of Defense will host its observance of National African American History Month on Monday, Feb. 8, 1999 at 2 p.m. (EST) at the Pentagon Auditorium, Room 5A1070.
The keynote speaker will be Army Lt. Gen. Joe N. Ballard, commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
