Department of the Army Unveils Active Component Brigade Combat Team Stationing

             Special Assistant to the Secretary of the Army Ray Dubois and Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Richard Cody will announce today at 2 p.m. EDT in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E579, the new locations for the Active Army's Modular Brigade Combat Teams.  The stationing announcement will detail how this initiative postures the Army to maintain its high degree of readiness needed for strategic commitments -- including ongoing operations in support of the Global War on Terror -- as well as the impact of these Army stationing decisions on soldiers and their families.

             Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.   Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.   Please call Maj.
