Background Briefing by USAF Senior Officers, Stop Loss.

At 3:30 p.m. (EDT) today, Air Force officials will give a background briefing concerning their plans to implement Stop Loss within the Air Force. Stop Loss refers to the authority to suspend any provision of the law relating to promotion, retirement or separation applicable to any member of the Armed Forces determined to be essential to the national security of the United States.
