Background Briefing on Secretary of Defense Cohen's Trip To Europe
A senior Defense department spokesman will provide a background briefing onSecretary of Defense William S. Cohen's upcoming trip to Europe at 11:00 a.m. (EDT) in the Pentagon's DoD Briefing Room, Room 2E781, on July 7, 1999.
Cohen is scheduled to leave on July 8 to visit U.S. forces in the region and toconsult with his counterparts and senior government officials in the following countries: Denmark, Norway, Hungary, Albania, Greece and Turkey. Cohen is scheduled to return on July 15.
