Background brief on upcoming SECDEF trip to SE Asia
A senior Defense Department official will provide a background briefing on Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen's upcoming trip to Southeast Asia. The briefing will be held today at 12:45 p.m. EDT in the Pentagon's DoD Briefing Room, Room 2E781.
Cohen is scheduled to leave on Sept. 27 and will meet with senior government officials in Darwin, Australia; Jakarta, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand; Singapore, and Manila, Republic of the Philippines. Cohen is scheduled to return on Oct. 5.
