DoD Background Briefing Canceled
The background briefing, scheduled at 3:30 p.m. (EST), on the Department of Defense's February 1998 "Report to the Congress on the Military Requirements and Costs of NATO Enlargement," has been canceled.
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will be testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee tomorrow concerning NATO enlargement at approximately 10 a.m. (EST).
Copies of the report are available in the Directorate for Defense Information, Room 2E765 of the Pentagon.
