Gen. Shelton Will Host a Joint Services Full Honors Ceremony for the Canadian Armed Forces Council
Gen. Henry H. Shelton, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will host a joint Services full honors ceremony at the Pentagon River Plaza at 9 a.m. (EST), Thursday, March 26, 1998, for the Canadian Armed Forces Council.
The seven-member Armed Forces Council (AFC) is equivalent to the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The two-day visit to Washington, D.C., is part of a yearly program and alternates between the two countries.
This is the ninth annual AFC-JCS meeting.
