Gen. Shelton to deliver commencement address at North Carolina State University

Gen. Henry H. Shelton, U.S. Army, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will deliver the commencement address at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, N.C., on Saturday, May 16, 1998. The event will be held at Carter-Finley Stadium, beginning at 9 a.m. (EDT). The topic of Shelton's remarks is "A New World to be Won."

Shelton will also speak at North Carolina State University's Joint Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) commissioning ceremony later in the afternoon at Stewart Theatre, Talley Student Center, on the university campus.
