Secretary of Defense Will Participate in a Media Availability as Part of Base Tours
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will participate in a media availability as part of base tours of Naval Air Station Oceana, Va., and Naval Air Station Norfolk, Va., at 1 p.m. (EST) on the flight deck of the USS BATAAN, on Nov. 12. Secretary of the Navy-designate Richard Danzig, Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jay Johnson, and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy James Herdt, will also participate in the tour. This event is open to the media.
