Honor Cordon to Welcome Secretary of State for Defense of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host an honor cordon to welcome Secretary of State for Defense George Robertson, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to the Pentagon at noon (EST), Thursday, Nov. 19, 1998.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media interested in coverage of the cordon must be at the River Entrance no later than 11:40 a.m. (EST).
Cohen and Robertson will conduct a media availability at 2:30 p.m. (EST) in Room 3E912 of the Pentagon. Media without Pentagon credentials interested in coverage of the press conference must be at the River Entrance no later than 2:10 p.m. (EST).
The regularly scheduled 1:30 p.m. Department of Defense Press Briefing for Thursday has been canceled.
