The Joint Chiefs of Staff and the commandant of the Coast
Guard will host a luncheon on Sunday, Jan. 19, 1997, in honor of
the Medal of Honor recipients at the Sheraton National Hotel, 24
Oxmer Street (just off Columbia Pike), Arlington, Va., at 12:30
p.m (EST). Speakers at the luncheon will include Gen. John M.
Shalikashvili, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Paul W.
Bucha, president of the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.
Other Joint Chiefs of Staff participants are Air Force Gen.
Joseph W. Ralston, vice chairman; Gen. Ronald R. Fogleman, chief
of staff, U.S. Air Force; Gen. Dennis J. Reimer, chief of staff,
U.S. Army; Gen. Charles C. Krulak, commandant of the Marine
Corps; and Adm. Jay L. Johnson, chief of Naval Operations. Adm.
Robert E. Kramek, commandant of the Coast Guard will also attend.
