Secretary Cohen to Host Full Honors Arrival for Ukrainian Minister of Defense
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host a Full
Honors Arrival Ceremony to welcome Minister of Defense General
Colonel Oleksandr Kuzmuk of Ukraine, to the Pentagon at 9 a.m.
(EDT), Thursday, May 1, 1997.
The Ceremony will be held on the River Parade Field of the
Pentagon.
Following the ceremony, Secretary Cohen and Minister Kuzmuk
will sign an Amendment to Strategic Nuclear Arms Elimination
Agreement; a Reciprocal Health Care Agreement; and a Statement of
Intent on Future Military Medical Cooperation.
The signing
ceremony will be held in Room 3E912 of the Pentagon.
Media must be at the River Parade Field no later than 8:40
a.m. (EDT).
