Ballistic Missile Defense Organizaton Press Brief 16 Sep 97
The Defense Department Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO) will provide a briefing on the National Missile Defense (NMD) program for news media on Sept. 16, 1997 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E781).
The briefing will be conducted by Brig. Gen. Joseph Cosumano, U.S. Army, NMD Program Manager, Joint Program Office, and will include an update on NMD program activities, specifically data analysis from the June 25, 1997 Integrated Flight Test-1A, the NMD radar and other items of interest.
The briefing will be for attribution, and reporters will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the NMD development program.
