Full Honor Ceremony for 50th Anniversary of DoD
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host a full honors ceremony to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Department of Defense at the Pentagon, 10 a.m. (EDT), Wednesday, Sept. 17, 1997.
Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph W. Ralston, U.S Air Force, will join Secretary Cohen in the ceremony.
The ceremony will be held on the River Parade Field of the Pentagon.
Media must be at the River Parade Field no later than 9:40 a.m. (EDT).
