General Shalikashvili to address National Press Club
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General John M. Shalikashvili will address the National Press Club at 1 p.m. (EDT), Sept. 24, 1997.
The audio portion of the address is planned to be transmitted back to the Pentagon.
Credentialed reporters may cover the luncheon without buying a luncheon ticket, but must sit in the galleries above the ballroom.
Credentialed camera crews covering the speaker take their place on the riser at the rear of the ballroom on a first come, first serve basis.
