Gen. John M. Shalikashvili, U.S. Army, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff,will travel to Europe to participate in NATO Military Committee meetings onApril 23-24 to discuss the situation in former Yugoslavia and other NATOissues.
On Tuesday, April 23, a press conference is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. atthe U.S. Mission Annex Conference Room at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.
On Thursday, April 25, Gen. Shalikashvili travels to Bosnia-Herzegovina fortalks with IFOR commanders, civilian and military leaders, and U.S. troops.
Abrief press conference is scheduled in Sarajevo.
The Chairman returns toAndrews Air Force Base, Maryland on Thursday evening.
