Air Force will present a demo of the JSAS Monday, 20 May, at 1 p.m. in the DoD Briefing Room.
The Air Force will present a demonstration of the Joint
Force Air Component Commander's Situational Awareness System
(JSAS) Monday, 20 May, at 1 p.m. in the DoD Briefing Room.
The JSAS provides the theater commander with complete
situational awareness of the battlespace by integrating
information from such sources as the AWACS, U-2, UAVs, SPOT
satellites and National assets. With live-feeds and real time
information from JSAS, the theater commander immediately knows
where his potential threats are located with respect to
boundaries, maps, imagery, and terrain.
