Single Subject DOD Briefing - Thursday, August 1, 1996 at 1:30 p.m.
At 1:30 p.m. (EDT) Thursday, August 1, 1996, British Royal
Navy Commodore Andrew Gough will present a single subject
briefing on NATO's Standing Naval Force Atlantic.
Standing Naval Force Atlantic is the oldest of NATO's
standing naval forces and has been engaged for the past three
years in embargo operations in the Adriatic in support of
Operation Sharp Guard.
Commodore Gough will brief those operations, as well as more
recent STANNAVFORLANT operations in the Carribbean and the future
of the force.
