Secretary Perry hosts UK Defense Minister Wednesday, Sept. 4, 1996
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry will host an
Honor Cordon to welcome Secretary of State for Defense
Michael Portillo, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland, to the Pentagon at noon (EDT), Wednesday,
Sept. 4, 1996.
The Cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon
River Entrance.
There will be a media availability immediately
following the Cordon in the DoD Briefing Room (2E781).
Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 11:40
a.m. (EDT). Media interested in audiovisual coverage of
