A Joint Services Full Honors Ceremony will be conducted at Whipple Field, Fort Myer, Va., at 9 a.m. on Thurs., Oct. 31, 1996, for the arrival of Gen.Yoon Yong Nam, chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Republic of Korea.
A Joint Services Full Honors Ceremony will be conducted at
Whipple Field, Fort Myer, Va., at 9 a.m. on Thurs., Oct. 31,
1996, for the arrival of Gen.Yoon Yong Nam, chairman, Joint
Chiefs of Staff, Republic of Korea. He will be greeted by Gen.
John M. Shalikashvili, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Gen. Yoon is visiting the United States Oct. 29 - Nov. 2 as
the guest of Gen. Shalikashvili and is participating on Thurs.,
Oct. 31, in the 18th Military Committee Meeting (MCM) at the
Pentagon. He will also participate in a wreath-laying ceremony
at the Tomb of the Unknowns, Arlington National Cemetery, at 3
p.m. on Oct. 31.
Photographic opportunities only will be available at the
arrival ceremony, at the beginning of the Military Committee
Meeting, and at the wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National
Cemetery. Because of the limited space in the MCM meeting room,
