No. 015-P:01/27/95:Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Env
Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Environmental Security Sherri W. Goodman
and Assistant Secretary of Interior for Fish and Wildlife and Parks George T.
Frampton will participate in a California Mojave Desert Memorandum of Agreement
(MOA) and the Biodiversity Memorandum of Agreement signing ceremony Thursday,
February 2, 1995 at 1:30 p.m. (PST). The ceremony will be held at the Leader's
Club, Fort Irwin, California.
The event is open to the media. Media representatives desiring to attend
should contact Major Henry L. Huntley, National Training Center Public Affairs,
619-380-3073/4511 prior to 3:00 p.m. (PST) February 1,1995. Media will be
escorted from the main gate by the NTC Public Affairs staff and directed to
available parking in the rear of building 248A. Transportation will be
arranged to and from the ceremony. Media should plan to arrive at the main
gate not later than 9:45 a.m. (PST).
