Gen. John M. Shalikashvili, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will hostan Armed Forces Full Honors Arrival Ceremony at the Pentagon River Plaza at 9a.m. (EDT), Tuesday, August 8, 1995, for the arrival of Maj. Gen. Ali MohammadHassan Al-Mumin, chief of staff, Kuwait Armed Forces.
Maj. Gen. Ali is visiting the United States as the guest of Gen.Shalikashvili.
During the period of the visit, which began on July 30, he hastoured various military installations and facilities in Texas, Kentucky,Florida, Nevada, and Massachusetts.
While in Washington, D.C., Maj. Gen. Aliwill participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns,Arlington National Cemetery, at 3 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, August 8.
His visitconcludes on Wednesday, August 9.
