Secretary of Defense William J. Perry will light the Department of DefenseChristmas Giving Tree in a ceremony on Monday, Dec. 4, 1995 at 2 p.m. (EST), inRoom 3E912 of the Pentagon.
Christmas ornaments on the tree represent over 400 children of deployed
service members from Fort Bragg, N.C., Naval Base Norfolk, Va., Camp Pendleton,Calif., and Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., who have been nominated by localfamily support services that will benefit from any measure of assistance.
