Gen. John M. Shalikashvili, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will departAndrews Air Force Base, Md., on Monday, January 1, 1996. He will accompanySecretary of Defense William J. Perry to visit U.S. and NATO forces at AvianoAB and Vicenza, Italy, and Taszar and Kopasvar, Hungary on January 2. Thefollowing day they will travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina for talks with Bosniagovernment officials in Sarajevo and for afternoon visits with troops in Tuzla.General Shalikashvili will then leave the Secretary's party and fly toStuttgart, Germany for European Command meetings. General Shalikashvilireturns to Andrews AFB on Thursday afternoon, January 4.
