General John M. Shalikashvili, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will
depart Andrews Air Force Base on Saturday, December 10, 1994, for a visit to
Brussels, Belgium, where he will participate in the NATO Military
Committee/Chiefs of Staff meeting.
The meeting will conclude on Thursday,
December 15.
The Chairman will then travel to St. Louis, Missouri, where he is scheduled to
speak at the opening ceremony of the 50th anniversary commemoration of the
Battle of the Bulge.
The event, hosted by the Veterans of the Battle of the
Buldge, will be held at the Regal Riverfront Hotel, 200 South Foruth Street in
St. Louis at 7 p.m. on December 15.
The 50th commemoration activities will run
through Sunday, December 18.
