General Jones to Provide NATO and U.S. European Command Update
Gen. James L. Jones, NATO’s supreme allied commander, Europe (SACEUR) and commander of the European Command (USEUCOM) will conduct a news briefing at 10:30 a.m. EDT, Aug. 17, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update of NATO and USEUCOM operations, including NATO’s International Security and Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
