Brigade Combat Team Commander to Brief Live From Afghanistan
Army Col. Mark Schweitzer, commander of the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, will brief live from Afghanistan at 9 a.m. EDT, April 24, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update on ongoing security and stability operations in eastern Afghanistan.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building. |
