Combined Joint Task Force-82 Deputy Commanding General to Brief Live from Afghanistan
Army Brig. Gen. Joseph Votel, deputy commanding general for operations for Combined Joint Task Force-82, will brief live from Afghanistan at 9 a.m. EST, Jan. 8, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update on ongoing security and stability operations in Afghanistan.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building. |
