Pentagon to Host Special All-Military Naturalization Ceremony

            Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England will join U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Emilio Gonzalez (DHS) and deliver the keynote address at special military naturalization ceremony Monday, April 14, at 1 p.m. EDT at the Pentagon.
 
            Twenty-five service members are scheduled to take the Oath of Allegiance and become citizens of the United States during a rare all-military naturalization ceremony at the Pentagon.
 
            The new citizens represent the 14 countries of: Belize, Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guyana, Jamaica, Kenya, Mexico, Pakistan, Panama, Philippines, and the United Kingdom.  The service members are from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, and include members of the National Guard and Reserve.
 
            Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at either the North Parking Entrance or Metro Entrance.  Plan to arrive no later than one hour prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
