U.S. Brigade Commander and Iraqi Division Commander to Brief Live from Iraq
Army Col. Peter Jones, commander of the 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division (U.S. Division-North) will hold a joint press conference with Iraqi Staff Lt. Gen. Uthman Ali Salih Farhoud, commander of the 8th Iraqi Army Division. They will brief live from Iraq at 10 a.m. EDT, April 21, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E973, to provide an update on operations.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance only. Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call 703-697-5131 for escort into the building. |
