Vice President Joe Biden Hosts Ceremony for Secretary Hagel
Vice President Joe Biden will host a welcome ceremony for Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel in the Pentagon Auditorium (BH650) on Thursday, March 14, at 3 p.m. EDT. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey will join Vice President Biden and Secretary Hagel for the ceremony.
The event will be pooled for television at the head-on position. The cuts position is open for unilateral coverage. Coverage for print reporters and still photographers is open.
Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up only at the Pentagon River Parking Pedestrian Bridge by calling 703-697-5131. Plan to arrive no later than one hour prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.
