Secretary Rumsfeld to Host MoD of India
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will host an honor cordon to welcome Minister of Defense George Fernandes, of India, to the Pentagon at 11:45 a.m. EST, Thursday, Jan.17, 2002.
The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 11:25 a.m. EST for the cordon.
Rumsfeld and Fernandes will conduct a joint press conference in the Pentagon Briefing Room 2E781 at 12:45 p.m. EST. Media without Pentagon credentials must be at the River Entrance no later than 12:25 p.m. EST for escort to the Briefing Room.
