CJCS Travels to the Middle East
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard B. Myers will depart Andrews Air Force Base, Md., Saturday, Jan. 19, for a visit to the Middle East.
This is a routine counterpart visit to discuss items of mutual interest and security issues with government officials in Egypt, United Arab Emirates, and Jordan. Myers returns to Washington on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002.
