Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz will deliver the keynote address at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Conference, at 12:30 p.m. EST Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, Washington, D.C.
DoD leaders participating in panel discussions during the two-day event include Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics) Edward C. "Pete" Aldridge, the conference's executive chairman; Under Secretary of Defense (Personnel and Readiness) David Chu; Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller) Dov Zakheim, and a number of DoD senior leaders, as well as senior officers of the Boeing Co., Raytheon Co., Northrop Grumman Corp., TRW Inc., Lockheed Martin Corp., BAE Systems and other industry and government officials.
The conference's purpose is to clarify strategies and frame the most effective plans to enhance our national economic strength and security. A principal goal is a full and active interchange between the government, industry and our nation's defense leadership, with a consensus set of recommendations issued post-conference.
