Medal of Valor Award Ceremony Set for March 5
A Medal for Valor award ceremony will be held in the Pentagon Auditorium, Room 5A1070, on Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at 2 p.m. EST. This event will honor 39 employees of the Pentagon's Real Estate and Facilities (RE&F) Directorate for their heroic actions on Sept. 11, 2001. The men and women of RE&F are responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Pentagon. David O. Cooke, director of Administration and Management for the Department of Defense, will present the awards.
