Pentagon Renovation Program Manager Walker Lee Evey will hold a news briefing on Thursday, March 7, at 11 a.m. EST in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E781, to discuss the progress of reconstruction at the Pentagon as the six-month anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack nears.
Journalists not possessing a Pentagon press building pass who wish to cover the briefing must call (703) 697-5131 for access to the briefing.
In a separate event on Friday, March 8, the Pentagon Renovation Program is providing an opportunity for members of the media to see construction progress first-hand. The site will be accessible to groups by appointment only between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. in 20-minute intervals. Access is limited and appointments must be made in order to gain access. Project managers will be on-site to answer questions about the reconstruction process.
