Gen. Myers to Travel to Michigan
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard B. Myers will depart Andrews Air Force Base tomorrow, April 9, 2002, for travel to Detroit. He will participate in a brief media availability at 11 a.m. EDT, followed by a 12:30 p.m. EDT address to the Economic Club of Detroit about the global war on terrorism. The events will take place at the Burton Manor Banquet and Conference Center, 27777 Schoolcraft Road, Livonia, Mich. Myers will return to Washington later Tuesday afternoon.
