Secretary Rumsfeld Visits Fort Hood
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will visit Fort Hood, Texas, to meet soldiers and civilians on Wednesday, Aug. 21, and hold a press availability at 2:20 p.m. CDT in the Howze Theatre. All news media representatives wishing to enter the installation to cover this event must be at the 79th Street entrance on U.S. Hwy. 190 by 10:45 a.m. CDT.
A live audio feed will be fed to the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E781, at 3:20 p.m. EDT. Media without a Pentagon building pass must have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification and should be at the River Entrance by 2:45 p.m. EDT.
