Navy to Announce Name of DDG 94
Secretary of the Navy Richard Danzig will announce the name of DDG 94, the 44th ship of the Arleigh Burke class of guided missile destroyers, on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, at 2:30 p.m. EST in the DoD briefing studio, Pentagon room 2E781.
This will be Danzig's last ship naming before leaving office. A former secretary of the Navy and current and former professional colleagues who span half a century of government service in national security affairs will participate.
