Small Business Performance Awards Ceremony Set for December 12, 2005

            Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Kenneth J. Krieg will present Small Business Program performance awards for fiscal 2004 Monday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. EST in the Pentagon's Hall of Heroes.  Military departments, defense agencies and individuals will be recognized for initiatives pursued and results achieved.

 

            The awards are presented annually to the best in the following programs:  Small Business, HUBZone Contracting, Small-Disadvantaged, Women-Owned Small Business, Historical Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions, and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business.  In addition, special recognition awards are presented to individuals for Small Business Specialist of the Year, Contracting Official of the Year, and Program Manager of the Year.
