Friedman to Brief Financial Management Study
Stephen Friedman, retired chairman and senior partner of Goldman Sachs & Co., will conduct a press briefing on the results of the "Transforming Department of Defense Financial Management: A Strategy for Change" study, Tuesday, July 10, at approximately 2 p.m. EDT, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E781. His remarks will follow the regularly scheduled DoD press briefing.
The study was conducted to provide Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld with recommendations to improve DoD financial operations.
