The Center for Emerging Threats and Opportunities (CETO) will conduct a two-day operational wargame July 24 and 25 at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies in Quantico, Va. The event builds on a strategy-policy wargame held in June and is part of Project Lincolnia, a continuing effort to examine the strategic, operational and tactical implications of urban operations. The project is the U.S. military's first attempt to examine all three levels of warfare in the urban environment. The wargame's findings will be integrated into a U.S. Marine Corps tactical experiment scheduled for Quantico this fall.
CETO is a Marine Corps-Potomac Institute for Policy Studies partnership dedicated to exploring innovative ways to deal with non-traditional threats to national security.
