CJCS Travels to Belgium and the Middle East
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard B. Myers departed Andrews Air Force Base, Md., today for visits to Belgium and the Middle East.
Myers will participate in the North Atlantic Council, Defense Planning Committee, and bilateral meetings, in Brussels, Belgium, Dec. 17-19. He will depart for the Middle East where he will visit with counterparts and troops on Wednesday evening, Dec 19.
Myers returns to Washington on Dec. 24, 2001.
