Deputy Secretary Hamre to Conduct 1:30 p.m. EST Briefing Today
Deputy Secretary of Defense John J. Hamre will conduct a press briefing on the Department of Defense's experiences with the Y2K rollover today, Jan. 4, at 1:30 p.m. EST in the Pentagon Briefing Studio, Room 2E781. This press conference will be held in lieu of the Department's regularly scheduled 1:30 p.m. Tuesday briefing.
