Deputy Secretary Hamre's Trip to Europe
Deputy Secretary of Defense John J. Hamre will depart Washington Wednesday, March 1, 2000, for travel to Italy, Macedonia, Kosovo, The Netherlands and Norway. While there, he will meet with U.S. and European government officials and visit troops at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo and Camp Able Sentry, Macedonia. Hamre will return to Washington on March 5.
