Navy-Marine Corps "Honorary Member" Press Briefing
Secretary of the Navy Richard Danzig will brief reporters on a new program entitled "Navy-Marine Corps Honorary Member," on Thursday, March 23, 2000, at 1:30 p.m. EST, in the Pentagon Briefing Room, Room 2E781. Surprise "honorary" guests will join Danzig.
The initiative enlists public figures who reflect the Navy's core values, to help foster a civil-military relationship that highlights the significant contributions of our sailors and Marines to peace and security around the globe.
The regularly scheduled Pentagon briefing will follow at 2 p.m.
