Background briefing on NATO Ministerials
On Tuesday, June 6, 2000, Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen travels to Belgium to attend the NATO Defense Ministerials and follow on meetings in Sweden, Lithuania and Russia. There will be a background briefing to outline some of the major issues and events of this tour immediately following the regular DoD press briefing on Thursday, June 1, 2000, in the Pentagon Press Briefing Room, 2E781. The regular brief starts at 1:30 p.m. EDT and the background briefing begins at approximately 2 p.m.
